If you recall, a while back, you (for lack of better word) attacked me because I said I didn't like Doctor Who. Well, I've watched a few episodes (all the way through) and I must admit. It's better than I though.
I'm not a "Oh!-Doctor-Who's-on.-I-need-to-drop-everything-and-watch-it." fan, but it's better than I thought.
The technology is kinda impressive, especially the sonic screwdriver. A bit to much copper for my taste, though. They should throw in some silver or something.
The Doctor is a genius and not conceded in the least. Rare. Kind of like a time traveling Sherlock Holmes, actually. And he doesn't like to kill. It's not him who tries to kill off his friends, it's his friends who try to save him - some times resulting in them getting in life-threatening situations.
And, though a liar, the Doctor is loyal to his friends and thy return that loyalty - sometimes they show extra. Possibly just because he knows how to work the Tardus to get them home. (Puts hands up in defense) Or... it could be for other, better reasons.
It is now on my list of shows to watch - but pretty low on it. BUT! It's on it.
In conclusion, I apologize. I didn't get all the facts before I made my decision.
